Total automotive sales increased marginally in February 2022. According to the official monthly report of the Pakistan Automobile Manufacturers Association, Toyota Indus Motor Company (IMC) and Honda Atlas Cars Limited (HACL) in particular saw a significant decline in monthly sales. (PAMA).
The latest data show that the automotive industry recorded a total of 21,706 car sales, up 5 percent month-on-month (monthly) and 32 percent annual (annual).

In February, Toyota Indus Motor Company (IMC) saw sales of 4,630 units, down 32 percent from the previous month, but up 6 percent from the previous year. Hyundai Nishat sold 1,469 cars in the same period, an increase of 140 percent per month.
HACL sold 2,286 cars, down 32 percent from the previous month, but up 13 percent year-on-year, while PSMC sold 12,668 cars, up 40 percent month-on-month and 42 percent year-on-year
