Following the launch of the locally assembled BAIC BJ40 Plus, Sazgar Engineering is now focusing on the production of CKD (completely converted) SUVs. In the second quarter of 2022, Haval will begin to merge Jolion and H6 locally and will soon open reservations for them.
said the company will continue to offer both petrol and hybrid versions of the Haval SUV, along with the H6 and Jolion hybrid variants.
Pakistan’s first Haval H6 Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) appeared in Karachi in December 2021, after which Sazgar imported additional H6 hybrid devices to demonstrate them. Although there are no other local opinions on the hybrid variants of Haval Jolion, the automaker plans to produce the hybrid Jolion locally.
Better Price and Improved Features
It can be assumed that the locally assembled Haval variant will have fewer features and options than the CBU unit, but the car manufacturer does not surprisingly eliminate any of them. In fact, the CKD version of the H6 will get more features than the CBU version.
The locally installed Haval H6 CKD’s 2.0L turbo model will be equipped with additional features such as Head-Up Display (HUD), seat ventilation, ambient lighting, automatic reverse and automatic parking.
Pakistan already has the latest fully loaded Haval Jolion, and the current Jolion will soon go on sale as a CKD unit with the same options as the CBU.
In addition to the additional features added to the CKD units, local assembly will allow the company to keep prices lower than imported units.
