Audi Q6 e-tron
Sold at the end of 2022
One of the biggest disadvantages of being part of a large family is having to endure the events around you. When it comes to the Audi Q6 e-tron, the transmissions are a good thing, because what they get is more Gucci than Grandma’s sweater.
You see, the Q6 is a sister model of the all-electric Porsche Macan, and both SUVs use an updated version of the mechanics that supports the sleek Audi E-tron GT and Porsche Thai performance cars.
In general, you can expect the Q6 to have a 90-100 kWh battery and provide about 300 miles between loads, according to what you get from other large electric SUVs. For example, the official range of the BMW iX3 is 285 miles, and the Jaguar I-Pace is 292 miles.
Like the e-tron GT and Thai, the Q6 e-tron must have an 800-volt charging function and be able to generate electricity at speeds of up to 270 kW. This is fast enough to get the battery from 10-80% to 80% in about 20 minutes (of course if you can find a suitable strong charging point).
Along with the existing electric Audis, the E-tron quattro concept car will have a big impact on the appearance of the Q6. This means it will have a wide, closed front grille, a strong rear section and a tail light bar that runs the entire width of the car. The coupe-type Q6 e-tron Sportback is expected to debut in 2023.
It can also be a high-power RS variant that has 600 horsepower at a certain time after start-up and reaches a speed of 0-102 mph in less than 4 seconds.
The interior of the Q6 e-tron will use durable source materials, including artificial leather and natural fabrics. Most likely, these will be combined with the E-tron GT’s 10.1-inch infotainment touch screen. It is one of the best systems of its kind with fast responses, haptic feedback and high resolution.
Audi’s 12.3-inch Virtual Cockpit digital instrument display will be standard and will offer the driver a wide range of personalizations to change what is displayed and how it is organized.
The Q6 e-tron will be above the Audi Q4 e-tron, but below the highest-end Audi E-tron in the brand’s electric SUV series. It will be priced accordingly, so we expect it to cost around £ 55,000. It will be cheaper than his Macan relative.
Tesla Model Y
The Tesla Model Y electric car can look like a Model 3 full of growth hormone to turn into an SUV with a higher driving position and more space inside.
Currently, the Model Y is only offered with five seats, but a seven-seater version will be offered in the future. Due to its size, it completely falls under the Tesla Model X in the SUV series of the electric brand, and it works well without the “hawk-wing” doors that open up to the car.
The idea behind this new addition to the range of the US manufacturer is that while the Tesla Model 3 is an excellent electric car, it will not suit everyone. The body of the sedan, for example, is not ideal for large families, and for many buyers it is not an SUV that immediately turns it off.
As with the model 3 There is a Long Range version and a Performance model, but Tesla does not currently offer a cheaper, rear-wheel drive Standard Range model. This is one of the reasons why the Model Y has a much higher starting price than its sedan sister.
Tesla Model 3, Model Y, which is the main share, is Tesla’s adoption of the famous SUV family. With access to Tesla’s super-fast and reliable charging network, which is included in the price, and a distance of up to 315 miles between payments, this is an attractive offer for anyone who wants to go green. Although noisy for an electric car, some competitors offer a smoother ride.
Volvo C40 review
Volvo grows with the Volvo C40 Recharge. It’s not just a stylish coupe SUV, but also a fully electric car – and a skinless interior that will attract vegans.
In any case, the rich are vegans, as opposed to the high-end versions of the C40 Audi Q4 Sportback e-tron and Mercedes EQA. There is a choice of three trim levels and a single-engine front-wheel drive or two-engine all-wheel drive version (one for each axle).
If you go for a two-engine car – the branded Recharge Twin, you’ll get a bigger battery, but you’re also limited to two high trim levels. These all-wheel drive models provide twice as much power as the SUV in your average family (by the way, they are all available at 0 rpm).
Frankly, the C40 is much faster – even faster than the Jaguar I-Pace. This is completely different from the Volvo brand, which was previously known for its sensitivity and practicality.
Of course, location is also important. The single-engine C40 Recharge has a 69 kWh battery and can cover an official distance of 269 miles when fully charged. With a larger 78 kWh battery, the twin-engine model has an official WLTP range of 273 miles.
Aside from caravan owners, it should be noted that the C40 can weigh more than the Q4 and EQA, with a weight range of 1,800 kg and 1,000 kg and 750 kg, respectively.
So should you buy one of the cheaper Volvo XC40 Recharge? This is a good question because they have the same foundations and are equally strong.

Hyundai Ioniq 6
Like Goldilocks’ third porridge box, the Hyundai Ioniq 6 may be perfect for electric car buyers – it combines Instagram-friendly looks with a generous range and high-tech interior.
The all-new four-door coupe’s 77.4 kWh battery – already used in the closely-knit Kia EV6 – has a range of 330 miles. This is less than the entry-level version of the rival BMW i4, but more than the equivalent Tesla Model 3, so it should be enough for most buyers.
We expect that the entry-level versions will be equipped with a single 226-horsepower rear-wheel drive engine and a two-engine, all-wheel drive, 321-horsepower model. At the same time, the highest level Ionic 6 N is expected to have 577 horsepower.
Ioniq 6, Hyundai Ioniq 5 will have the same fast charging feature as the hatchback. This means that if you can find a sufficiently powerful charger, you can charge its battery for 10 minutes with a capacity of 10-80%.
The interior will go far beyond the futuristic design of the Prophecy concept car, which preceded the Ionig 6, and will be based on the Ionig 5s instead. It will control two 12.3-inch display devices and an infotainment system, and the following buttons will take you to commonly used functions such as climate control and satellite navigation.
Expect Ioniq 6 to offer the latest driver assistance technology, including adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assistance and blind spot control.
Prices are expected to start at around £ 43,000 – about the same as the cheapest Model 3, but significantly lower than the i4, which starts at £ 51,905.
