AUTO 2023 Ford Ranger

AUTO 2023 Ford Ranger Raptor has 392 horsepower and is coming to the United States

Ford has introduced a new Raptor version of the Ranger midsize truck.
This model follows the Raptor application we saw in the F-150 and Bronco with more powerful engine and off-road features.
Ford CEO Jim Farley has confirmed that the Ranger Raptor will go on sale in the United States next year.

The global presentation of the Ford Ranger Raptor is quite exciting, but now we have confirmation from Ford that this off-road pickup will officially arrive in the United States next year. It will be very similar to what you see here, but probably with a few adjustments to its appearance and slightly different features.

In terms of power units, the Ranger Raptor is largely a reflection of the Bronco Raptor: it has the same two turbocharged 3.0-liter V-6 engine, 392 horsepower and 430 pound-feet (these figures may vary for the US market). 10-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive, two-speed gearbox and front and rear locking differentials are standard.

The Bronco Raptor shares 3.1-inch-diameter Fox Racing adaptive shock absorbers with the F-150 Raptor, while Ranger buys 2.5-inch-diameter Fox shock absorbers. The same anti-lag feature of the Bronco is found here, allowing the turbocharger to stay on the wheel for a short time when you lift the regulator. There will be different driving modes, which will affect the adjustment of the shock absorbers, the height of the exhaust and other factors.

As with any Raptor model, it has a large FORD letter that dominates the front grille, and the trunk looks wider than the standard next-generation Ranger thanks to inflated wing flames. The photos show 33-inch BF Goodrich K02 off-road tires, as well as tires that can be fastened with 17-inch beads.

Inside, the interior is more modern than the current Ranger and has a large 12.0-inch vertical touch screen and a cluster of digital tools. The touch screen works with Ford’s Sync 4A software and a premium audio system will also be offered. We expect the Ranger Raptor to be offered only as a crew cabin, as in the F-150 Raptor.

Check out more about the US over the next few months as the Ranger Raptor is scheduled to go on sale off the coast in 2023.
